oops, I thought this was the place to request an avatar.

Kevin504, never even considered that. This block is the only mint version I have of this stamp. I do have some used ones to try and compare colors.

can't find the used one right now. I swear I just saw it recently. My collection is all over the place.
It would be something if this is the red brown. I just assumed, like I usually do with my purchases, that it would be the less rare version.

I just saw your link. Yea it does have that more "burgundy" look like the red brown of the ebay block. The single next to it is "brighter". Mine doesn't have P#'s. Just left side shelf and that single line.

Funny thing is I might have an 832b with P#'s but I can't pick up a watermark. The gum is really heavy and I can't see anything with the fluid.

I'm starting to think about getting some things certified. Looks like I need to add this block to the list of "needing expertize".

Hi stampcrow:

You're in the correct forum. Only the forum admin creates avatars and then only when he has free time in his schedule.

So, be patient and it will happen in the New Year.

In the meantime, enjoy the board.

Kirk
