I geuss I was thinking double. Since you mentioned the stamp is doubled to the top of frame and to the bottom so would that make it a triple transfer?

There is nothing doubled on this stamp, it is just a very sharp well inked impression.

Coinwatcher. You seem to consistently see things that none of the others can see on this forum ... Including many people with many years of experience in stamp collecting. If you are looking for validation for some of your "findings" then you are probably going to be waiting for some time. To get back some trust, may I suggest actually getting one of your stamps certified, or at least pay for a Weiss opinion? Other than that, I guess you can keep showing your examples, but be ready for a large amount of negative responses. Just my 2 cents ...

I was only kidding. My point was, because you see ink on both sides, it is just ink bleeding not a re-entry.

These stamps are notorious for all manner of printing anomalies so unless it's something just crazy odd then nothing special to report on this. Also I really don't see too much in the way of doubling on this stamp. Sorry.

Here is a mis-registration that is rather common and not really worth anything over cat (if that?)so maybe that will help you understand a little more?

When the OP contacted me, I was unaware of this thred. My opinion concurs with Barts. I also pointed the OP towards my double transfer diagnositcs/reference page that, while not complete by any means, showcases what actual double and triple transfers look like.
