Question About The 2014 US Specialized

I was curious about the new symbol that scott has added to the us catalog to identify hard to soak stamps.

Did they just take info that's available on the aps website or is this list a more comprehensive list?

I had no idea as I decided to take a year off and not get a 2014 catalog.

Scott has a symbol on every stamp that Scott recommends collecting in one piece (on paper) essentially this (S) means "Do No Soak". The editor has an extensive introduction to this stamp collecting challenge. Also there is a section or a "2014 Edition Special Feature" on pgs. 129-130 titled page(s) "New 'Warning: Do Not Soak' symbol for self-adhesive stamps debuts in 2014 U.S. Specialized catalog." It is very helpful. I do not think Scott/Amos Press would plagiarize and feel they would give full credit to whoever if warranted. I feel it is one of their best catalogs todate.
