I am using a 2011 Scott Specialized catalog, and the listings for 3294-3301 are NOT distinguished by a heading of BOOKLET STAMPS, as is Scott's usual format (see heading above 3310). However, the descriptions of 3297b,d & 3301a-c state "Booklet pane" while 3297c,e & 3301d state "Block of 4". Are these stamps available as booklet stamps, sheet stamps or as both types?

They were ALL issued in booklets but in different formats. If you have a 2011 Scott Specialized, refer to pages 472-473 for illustrations of the three (3) different booklet formats.

One booklet of 20 has 7 rows of stamps, 3 stamps across with a label at the LR;

One booklet of 20 is double-sided, 2 rows of stamps across, with 8 stamps total on one side and 12 stamps total on the other, separated only by the backing paper; and

One booklet of 15 has 2 stamps across and a label at the LR. If separated at the fold area, it can be a block of 4, block of 6, and a block of 5 + label.

Thanks wt1 for the clarification. If I interpret the pictures and your explanation correctly, any block will have at least on un-perfed edge.

I believe you are correct when referring to blocks of the stamps. However, when one looks at single stamps, the one exception is that there are four sided perforations that exist on the center-most stamps of the booklet of 20 showing 3 stamps across; all of the other varieties will have perforations on 2 or 3 sides, resulting in one or more straight edges.
