Due to my carelessness, I did not realize until recently that, to my complete surprise, the pane (of 10) of the grand central terminal stamp ($19.95) has a header. Is this the first time that a high-value (priority/express mail) stamp whose pane has a header?

Panes with headers (or any other types of selvage design besides plate no. and USPS logo stuff) go into my collection. So I guess I will have to bite the bullet and spend $200 for this grand central terminal pane. But I wanted to make sure I did not miss any other high-value panes.

Come to think of it, why doesn't the USPS publish a picture of the entire pane of EVERY stamp issue?

Most of the time you can find an illustration of the entire pane under the DCP Keepsake section of the USPS Store's website. Here's an illustration of the Grand Central Terminal Pane and DCP.

Personally, I wouldn't get excited about the selvage since it only has the four words "Grand Central Terminal Centennial" printed on it in simple plain lettering.

I've got one stamp in the collection which is enough. I can buy a lot of stamps and accessories for $200.00
