#596 measures about 19¼ by 22½ mm. Also the stamp perfs. 11 x 11 and is a dark green color. #632 measures the same as #596 in the design, but it perfs. 11 x 10½ and is a lighter green in color. #632 is often mistaken for #596. Most known #596 used copies are pre-cancelled from Kansas City Mo., but are know with the wavy line cancelling too. Your scan looks like the lighter green color of a #632. You didn't mention what it perfs. Although www.1847usa.com states 19 x 22½, Scott Specialized states "approximately 19¼ x 22 ½", so...If yours is 19 (or hopefully a bit more) x 22 ½ and perfs 11 x 11, and is dark green, you can send it to Bill Weiss for an opinion. Chances are though that it is #632. Good Luck, maybe its the real deal

most #596 are precancelled.....
based on color alone here....#632, perf 10.5x11

as someone has said, instead of measuring use a known rotary or flat plate cut the corners off and use that to compare. It is far easier than measuring with a ruler
