Hi again!
This is a progressive sample of tones in 3 c Washington A25 stamp.
Itīs really hard to determinate, which is just pink, pigeon blood pink, rose, scarlet, brown red...
The first row belong to pink ones. third one stick to rose, guess.
Second one I want to believe is brown red, 1875 re issue.
Regards to everybody!

Mestal,

It's hard to tell for sure without seeing these in person, but you almost certainly have all common colors of #65 there. There are a number of different common colors for this issue, each of which has pale-to-deep shade variations. I don't see any in your set that look pinkish or pigeon blood at all.

Mestal,

Here is an image showing some of the #64/65 3-cent color varieties from my collection. Some of these color changes are subtle, but the image should give you a rough idea of where your colors fall.

Classic Coins, it was a lot of help your images. As I guess, second row is a brown red, not as light as yours 65. Iīm started to think is a couple of 104... But itīs still heavy to say. Thanks a lot.

Yes thank you Classic Coins for the color variations it is going to help me a lot. Would any one have a pic of a pigeon pink color stamp out there. I know it is kind of blueish but never seen one. I guess I could look on some auction sites?

Newby,

Yes, look at some auction sites. I looked at some certified #64 on auction sites (but not pigeon blood), and the pink color doesn't photograph well, as is the case with my #64 in this post.

Mestal,

Regarding your second row of stamps, these could be lake rose, which is the darkest shade of #65, and darker than any shade shown in my color set, which certainly isn't all-inclusive, even for #65 colors. They could also be a deeper shade of rose red, or more likely they are darkened (sulfuretted) by environmental elements.

BTW, the colors in my color set came through a little on the pale side because of my scanner. Likewise, your scanner/camera may show colors darker than mine.
