Scan shows a normal 1 cent Washington and one in reverse image. Is this junk or a saleable item?

Looks like some sort of offset on selvage. Would be interesting to hear what others might have to say.

Probator, is it possible to show us the other side of this stamp? Is it normal?

Sorry, but it's junk. Damage due to storage issues. That's what happens when people stack stamps on top of each other in a hot/humid environment and put something heavy on top. When you try to pull the stamps apart, part of the stamp design below sticks to the stamp above. You can tell that's what happened because you can see the paper adhesion near the edges.

Just to cover all my bases -- backside offsets do exist. But your example is not one of them.
