Great album!

Let me first say that most of your stamps are in poor condition. They are still collectable, but not especially valuable.

That said, you have a few notable items.

First, is the 6th picture of the 15c Lincoln stamp - the first stamp issued by the US with his portrait. It appears to be a Scott catalogue #77. Value is minimal in that condition, but it is a desirable stamp.

Second, the 7th stamp stamp appears to be a Scott #73. The condition is terrible, but the cancellation is uncommon, making that stamp very desirable!

Finally, is your last picture. It could be one of a couple different stamps based on color and paper type, but what is notable is that it has a very light cancellation and appears to be in excellent condition - making it the most valuable stamp on the page (in terms of retail value).

Thank you for sharing with us!

Brian

thanks Brian for all your work .I think it is an average collection for the end of the 19° century made as an hobby .There are very bad and very nice stamps , that's live , and I am happy with it.
As you suggest , I ll let the album as it is.
Yesterday evening , I was by friends and talking about stamps , he gived me five french catalogues dating from 1982 , you see , adapted at my collection.
I have also still a box with 19°century stamps , some from the US , I ll make a pic when I have finished with it , it is a lot of work , but next week I have all the time
Albert .
