Hello ZhangCheng! You have to have 50 posts before you can buy, sell or trade, but you're real close so it won't take you long.

If you can agree on an exchange with another member, the only cost to each of you should be the postage. Some people trade according to Scott catalog value and others stamp for stamp. That's just up to you and your trading partner.

What are you wanting to trade, and what are you looking for?

Hello ZhangCheng,

If you are asking the cost to mail a trade from the USA to China, the cost is 94c ($0.94) to send 1 ounce (Weight of stamps and envelope together). The cost is $1.74 to send 2 ounces.

My trades are usually all low cost trades, so let's say the cost of the stamps would be under $5.00. for my trades. Catalog value of the stamps may be quite a bit higher, but I don't go just by catalog value.

Hi Dave N.,

Thank you very much.

The exchange is being raised by an increasing number of people all over the world, the exchange is a very good way for stamp collecting, and every stamp collector have some spare stamps, exchange is a good way to update them, also can make new friends. As a stamp dealer,I want to look for the common ground between exchange and purchase,I suppose the cost of every exchange maybe is the point, maybe not, anyway, the most important thing is that more and more people starting to collect stamps.

Thanks for your information again.

Best Regards,
ZhangCheng

Hi ZhangCheng,

Let me add something to my last reply... When I make trades with people in other countries, I usually do not send my stamps "registered". The cost of sending an envelope registered is around $10.00 and that is usually mare than the value of the stamps I am sending. I know a lot of people in other countries would like to send and recieve stamp trades using registered mail, but the high cost prevents me from doing that.

Thanks Dave,my information is the abroad registered fee is CHY 8 in China, about USD 1.20,hope it is useful to you.

Hi Dianne, you are right, the regular post is safe and can be received on schedule.

About me,the best safe way is sending by registered mail for customers.
But I can not accept the paypal in China for customer's order, because paypal can not cash the cash at the present time in Chinese mainland, for the small payment is that only send the cash to me by mail,it is a big obstruction to my overseas deal.
