Hello, I am new to this forum and saw that you are a group of people that are very knowledgable. I really appreciate you letting me join. I have collected a large group of stamps, some of them I know but the most of them I don't so I can use your help. These stamps that are up loaded in this post are unfamiliar to me because of the perforations on them, they are square. Please let me know what they are and how uh they are worth. Thank you. Yes I will as soon as I get my computer up and running again I am on my tablet and I am having difficulties. Thank you Turbo

Thank you for answering me so fast. The pics that I thought were on there did not even come thru so I tried again to upload but only 1 of them came out. I am using my ipad right now because my computer is down. I have to put in a new nic card.
I hope that will only be until the morning them I can make all of the pics cleaner and actually put them on.
I am truly sorry about all of the repeats everyone.
I will post again in the am and Thanks again Turbo for your quick answer. Have a wonderful evening.

I can only see 2 pictures of the 1862 German red stamp, if you use the 'free image optimizer' and crop your picture you will be able to upload it, maybe its only available on a pc and not a tablet? im not sure as I dont have a tablet, Turbo |

Hi Daves_wife to SCF . To answer your question I've seen the one cent stamp with that Perf and I think I even have one. I remember treading about the Perv in question but don't remember. It is rare. Sorry I can't help more but someone here will know.I'm not linked to a printer but I tried to paste mine. But It(the computer) or Web Site for SCF wouldn't let me. I have Scott# 426 with that Perforation. I found it and the stamps are Vending Machine Perforations. They are U.S. Stamps printed in 1914. Hope that helps. Chuck IE:TinMan |

The scans are still very blurry but adequate to identify the stamps. The top stamp is Foreign. German I think but I can't help you. I only collect U.S. The middle two stamps were probably printed in 1914-1918. They are George Washington. The first President of the U.S. They are fairly common. The Perfs are fairly rare but are private Vending Machine stamps. The bottom stamp is a Scott# 310. Thomas Jefferson 3rd U.S. President. It is also fairly common printed in 1902-1903. So the U.S. stamps are not worth much. However I don't have the #310. I'm glad to hear you solved your computer problems. |
