Great covers Phil
70 cent to post a letter in 1937 must have been a small fortune
and are there any cancellations on the reverse

Harry, yes it was quite a sum..but your letter was travelling by Clipper instead of a sea voyage..yes the covers have back cancels...the one to Asia is marked Victoria and the Irish one has a Marseille backstamp..strange I would have thought it went to Ireland first rather than France ???

Nice covers Phil, glad to see that you were able to pick up something at the show.

It was also nice to see Ed and Collie. I told Collie he has to be nuts collecting China....

Wow!

Nice covers. I've thought about trying to get some first flight covers. I think that'll be my next area to expand into.
