thanks for sharing. I need to get my album out and take a peek at my classic stamps, been dwelling on the current ones lately. Very nice.

It sounds like your grandfathers collection is indeed a well rounded collection to cherish, learn about, add to, and pass on like any heirloom. My only hope is my son will catch the philatelic bug.
