I've been posting here for a few days and it is addicting...but extrememly informative. Thanks all. Anyhoo, My name is Dave and I am familiar mostly with US and US airmails, but I tend to collect anything within reason, and am learning and getting interested in more each day. I've been collecting since the mid/late 70's with a long hiatus during the 80's & 90's. I prefer older, pre 1990 stamps as I find them more appealing to the eye. Once everyone went for quantity in a year set I felt the designs went downhill. other areas include aerophiately, Czech and Finland stamps (my heritage), perfins, some precancels, covers, and am in the process of putting an old scott international album set together... probably only thru the 1980's if even that. then to transfer all the stamps out of the harris binders to the scotts...after reconfiguring for country not year..*L* Topical include space, amateur radio/electronics, stamps on stamps, and first issues of the world...not that I'll get them all. I'm a glutton for punishment. catch you all later.
