Those are pretty hard images to work with. I tied to run one through CS2 but I'm not sure I made it any better. In any event this grouping was the most interesting since I tend to hoard worthless multiplies of these years. I know they are low valued but I love them. Image: tina.jpg88.74 KB |

I was able to enhance that a little but I really couldn't do much with the others. You certainly have a nice start for a collection. I love collecting the years shown in the last two photo's. In fact I have a couple of pounds of the stamps in those last two photo's that I am still soaking. The problem is I still buy tons more, I guess I'm a junkie.
You a nice amount of stock books though I can't really tell what you have in the make up of stamps.
I'm not sure why your photo's are so bad, it almost looks like a camera phone or low lighting with a hand held camera.
So far the last two photos appear to be all very common and plentiful US stamps. However as I stated they hold a special place in my heart. it looks like someone really put some time and care into the stock books.
Let me know what type of camera you are using and how knowledgeable you are with digital cameras. This will help me give you advice for photos. People think it is the camera that takes good photo's. But the truth is any camera can take outstanding photo's with a little help on the photographers part. |

Tina, do not worry about size when using photobucket. Using your digital camera will give much better quality. It is a learning process and just keep at it and I know you will be posting soon. |

The problem is that the tutorial on how to post pictures needs to be revamped so it is easier to understand for newbies.
Just sayin'. |

It isn't all that hard if you want to down load to the site. First you want to have the file at no more than a resolution of 72. The image size of about 650 in width works for most images. Then when you save make sure to save it a smaller file. This is the basic steps but I can update them to the point that anyone can post an image. But the above steps will help manage the file size for download straight to this site instead of linking.
I thought those might of been a camera phone photo. if you want you can email your images and I will send them back resized for you until you get the hang of it. |

Tina, An easy way to email directly with another member is to click your mouse over their username to go to their profile. Then you can email them directly any info off the forum board to their email address. I find that much easier than posting on the forum for 1 person and wait for them to sign on & find the post. |
