My eyes are kind of tired... just got home from work...
but counting points with these old weary eyes, (if I've
counted correctly) his "65 with grill (LOL)" looks like a 94...

Dredging this old thread back up, not only because the OP still hasn't been able to sell this "gem" for some inexplicable reason, but for this wonderful item he is now selling:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-1-INLA...em3f3c3d90ab

Completely. 100%. BOGUS.

Trimmed fake that isn't even close to being legitimate.

1. Margins are far too small.
2. Cancel date is much too late.
3. Stamp color is all wrong.

Yuck.

I'm assuming (without catalog in hand) that this is being passed off as part imperf ? If so, was it reported ?

Reported HOW? There's no way to give context to listing reports any more. Reporting it as a fake, without the person at the other end knowing anything about stamps, is useless.

The person you are dealing with here obviously has a narcissistic personnality disorder. There is no way to get through to these people.

Why do you guys torment yourselves, and this forum, with this stuff? We have seen that he is not going to change his approach, and you can't stop him. The whistle has already been blown, and we get it. I tend to agree with Coriandre that he is incapable of taking correction due to some underlying personality disorder. Some people and things cannot be fixed.

If he really wanted help, that would be a different matter. But at this stage I can't tell which is more demented, his narcissistic self justification, or this pathological fascination with his antics.

Then again, one of the early terms for stamp collecting was "timbromania." hmmmm.

Don't let him, or me, get to you Dan. It isn't worth it.

As for the back button, google ads has it so clogged up it's easier to just link to the forum list.

Dan is completely correct, that $1 Inland is a total fake, with the perfs trimmed from the top and bottom. He also has 4 other revenues up for a total of about $43; combined they are worth less than $1.

Torment ? I use it for a dose of daily laughter which is very healthy.
I agree with Dan.

I am aware that he was banned, and that various posts and threads disappeared. Which was fitting. And as long as he was here to speak up for himself, I had no problem with ripping into his excesses.

But I frown on trashing a man behind his back when he can't defend himself. It is one thing to strategize for dealing with the trouble he is causing. If there are plans, by all means work 'em out. But it is another matter entirely to merely vent and bad mouth him when it isn't going to change anything. Kids do that. It's childish and immature to get kicks that way. I think we can be better than that.

My 2c.
