Was C150 the last Stamp to ever carry the "C" designation? Will they just be using the Global Forever Stamp from now on?

Yes to both questions. At least up to this point in time, unless the Scott Catalog editors decide to change things in the future.

I think Scott made its position clear with the Scenic America series (beginning with C133):

Quote:
Future issues that meet a specific airmail rate and contain the airplane silhouette will be treated by Scott as Air Post stamps. Stamps similar to No. 2998 will be listed in the Postage section.

I think the USPS would have to "change things in the future" to cause Scott to reconsider or revise its position on the matter. If the Global Forever series satisfies international airmail rates, but doesn't include the airplane silhouette, then C150 will be the last US Airmail stamp. The USPS will most certainly continue to issue stamps with aviation themes; perhaps some of them will commemorate events in the history of airmail, and not just the history of aviation. I collect both -- US Airmails and US aviation themed regular issues. At this point, that is a very finite number (less than 200, by my reckoning). I'm now more into covers for these issues, but will be happy to add new stamps to the collection (like No. 4806) when issued. When I get bored by the lack of new US airmail and aviation topical stamps, I'll likely begin to collect airmail stamps from US territories.

I also like the "First flight" covers. Tons of those!
