Hi,

I recently joined here as I was keen to know if anyone could answer my question.

My Dad has a collection of stamp monthly, stamp magazine and philatelic bulletins from the 70's. We recently discovered these whilst clearing out the attic.

I know these are not rare, but does anyone know if they are worth hanging onto or trying to sell? It seems a shame to throw them in the bin.

Many thanks

If I was you I would put them order and sell on ebay. People buy that sort of stuff. I wish I would find neat stuff like that in my attic! Welcome aboard!

Hello Will128, welcome to Stamp Community!

Stamp magazines are always interesting. Perhaps even after 50 posts (see rules) you could sell them on SCF here.

Donating to a worthy charity or stamp club can be an idea also.

For good articles you could just sell the magazine or whatever as that article if it came down to it.

As per some new ebay selling books where you cut old books and magazines apart and just sell pages or articles or pictures even, I don't think stamp collectors would appreciate that idea though.

Thank you for the replies!

I still have these and have no idea what to do with them. I put them on ebay but they didn't sell.

will welcome to SCF Just be a little patient. Get your 50 posts here at SCF and put them up for sale on SCF. They will sell here. It really won't take you long to get 50 posts.
