Anyone 'in the know' on #500 knows there are two plate numbers... 10208 and 10209...

Stamp is *clearly* 499 in all respects...

And... an "alleged" 500 certed by PSE...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-500-2-Wa...047675.l2557

If this PSE certed stamp is a 500, I will renew
my belief in the Easter Bunny & Santa Claus...

These really ice my cake...

Please feel free to chime in...

Hi, Kevin... can't really tell by that image size,
but I put on my magnifier glasses, and, as best as
I can tell, it's a 499...

The one w/ the PSE cert is definitely a #500, but not worth the asking price IMO.

Oh I see my friend Tipzi has responded to something on the board.
First, it is a rose color which is the correct color for a 500.
Next, if Tipzi, who found a 482A when he was a 14 year old, says it's a 500 you can bank on it...or anything else he identifies....Welcome Tipzi!

Ray

Tipzi, indeed is the kind of 'wiz' (smiling) I'm seeing
more and more great info from day after day... and I'm
thoroughly enjoying what I'm reading...

However... after indulging in W-F's for as many years
as I have, (and not professing to be any type of expert
on any level... not now or ever), I'm a long long way
from being convinced by (anyone) that the Ty Ia only
exists in Rose Carmine...
