Very nice, what is a 'cert' ?

Do you mean a certificate of authenticity or something similar?
If so, how does a collector get one? Do they have to find a local stamp dealer or send the stamp by mail to a authorized certificate company?

Thank you,
SueStamps

Hi, Sue... yes and then some...
an expertizer's opinion and if
optionally graded, can increase
the value of a stamp significantly...

Please view the website below for
more detail... and also note that
Bill Weiss is also a very active
participant in SCF... you'll see
his name on postings...

P.S. ... at $22.00 I would recommend
snatching up the 524 before someone
else does... that's an awesome price
for one in that condition, hands down...

Hi, Stampcrow... firstly, it's a cancel,
not a mint stamp, so - what the back looks
like isn't very significant comparatively
to an unused copy...

Second... seller states the following...

"Norman C. Hinds, Jr. APS # 083032, a dealer member since 1975. Member of Florida Stamp Dealers' Association, USPCS, GPS, GCCG"

Lastly, you have ebay Buyer Protection,
which I highly doubt you would need...

I don't collect cancels, otherwise we
wouldn't be having this conversation...
I would have already purchased it, all
based upon the above...

My advice to you is that if you can
afford the $22, you should buy this
stamp... I highly doubt you would ever
see another in this condition, not to
mention the low price... your choice...

The only reason I hesitate is I have this space filled already. Wouldn't grade nearly as well but also a light cancel.
