Still the best example of cap on right 2...
highly doubtful it's ink error...

You can find some interesting varities of Sc #220 "Caps on 2s". My favotite, six caps in a row!
Looks too consistent to be an inking flaw.

The cap on left and cap on both two's are repeatable flaws in the plate. The so called cap on right two always looks a bit different from each other because it is not a plate flaw which repeats but an inking flaw which changes every time.

That I didn't know. I'd have thought that it was a flaw in the transfer roll, much like the "TAG" variety on the 10c 1861 type 2s.
