Guess the Scott catalog numbers of the first five postage stamps in my US collection.
Win a lightly used 2002 Scott US Specialized Catalog, free shipping included. You will get something extra too.
Each member gets five guesses.
You don't have to take them all in one post. Just number each guess.

Tom, what numbers do they come in? Do they have a specialized format of numers? Like they have only 5 digits maybe? |

The Scott catalog numbers are integers between 1 (the 1847 5c Franklin stamp) and 4126 (the 2007 Liberty Bell Forever stamp). The winner will correctly name the five stamps with the lowest catalog numbers that I have in my collection. |

This is actually a pretty hard contest because requires some knowledge of early US stamps to guess the ones I am most likely to have in my collection (the cheaper ones). #2, the 1847 10c Washington is too expensive for me.

The winning answer: 7-9-10-11-14 Boy you were so close, LeAnn! I had already posted pictures of the 7,9 & 14, so I didn't think it would be too hard to guess the 10 & 11. |

WOW! I just picked the first five issues that I thought I could afford myself. I didn't even think to look at the pics you had posted. Since I don't collect U.S. why don't you throw the catalog back into the pot for the next contest. I have a '98 catalog, and I'm sure someone else would get much more use out of it. I just had fun looking at the catalog and playing the game. Thanks, t360 |

t360 & laswabbie: You can send it to me, I was only one number off. But then again, I've been off most of my life. LeAnn |
