Two days ago, I felt (obviously now, mistakenly) a sense of accomplishment, as I mounted the last of my US Classics, into the final binder, of a self made, 4 volume set, of "US Classics - Postmarks and Cancellations" over half of which are 220s.

My first impression, reading this thread was to thank you, stampcrow, for revisitng it. I sincerely do say "Gee, thanks alot, stampcrow", in a sincere manner. I had not seen it before.

My second impression, as an impending sense of futility, descended upon me, realizing I have to revist over half the collection of classics, after you revistied this thread, I apologetically admit, sarcasm... "Gee, thanks alot, stampcrow."

I'm not done with all these 'red Georges'! I'll never be done with all these 'red Georges'!

uh oh...cet_gg broke out the dancing banana...we might need an intervention!
I will say, with all sarcasm aside, I hope you find this variety.

stampcrow, I've not had much time to come back to this thread, but thought to do so, now, to say, I do have a 220a. It was also noted by someone my '2's' looked odd.

I have alot of 220's, (no caps) that have odd looking 2's. I will spend some time looking those over, when I get the chance. Probably while I am uploading them into the inventory program I just got. I'll have a chance to look them over then.
