Thanks for looking.

Whilst looking through my friends Grandfathers (died 1980) USA album I found this, does anyone know if this is a known variety ?

What are you thinking is the "variety" ? Also, it can't be DL watermark & perf 12, only Perf 12 Washington like yours was SL watermark.

Did you measure the perfs ? IF it's a perf 12 then it's a Scott 406, single line watermark.

WM73E is SG for DL - I haven't touched the stamp yet just wanted to know if anybody had heard of the possibility of this.

Well I cannot see the watermark with fluid but there appears to be a red box with a number stamped on the back ?

looks like there are 3 or 4 different hinges on that stamp. You'd have to soak those off to get a realistic view
