If you can..support the little vest pocket dealers on Stampoffers and Stampwants..they are not eBayers just trying to make money..almost all are collectors like ourselves..a dealer on Stampwants that my wife buys from had a 75 percent off sale or make an offer sale yesterday...i needed Italy scott 539 used to finish a page...it catalogs 75 dollars..i usually see it for around 40 dollars...i made an offer of 9 dollars and it was accepted..perhaps because my wife is a good customer....
I haven't totally given up on ebay yet, but I certainly agree! I've bought 93 lots from ebay but over 1500 items from StampWants and more from StanpOffers in the last year or so.
A couple of other auction sites that have no listing fees, only final value fees once and item sells, are ePier.com and Wensy.com. I've had some success with listings on ePier. Wensy I've only started listing on recently. These sites are for general merchandise.
