Welcome sanorton01. Just remember stamp values are what most dealers are selling stamps for, if you want to resell, the sell price in most cases will be a lot lower. You can start by going to a stamp club meeting in your area and go to a public library and look up the "value" of your stamps in a Scott catalog. The only real value is the enjoyment in collecting, most collections end up in a garage sale such as yours. However, valuable collections have been found there, but rarely.
