Hello all.

Getting restarted into collecting after losing my collection over 15 years ago. Have been a single parent of three since then, so haven't had the time or resources to get back into the hobby until recently. Down to the last kid still at home, so finally finding some free time.

Having been with Scouts as a youth and adult (Cubmaster, Boy Scout Committee and Roundtable, Girl Scout Assistant Leader, and now a Venture Adviser), Scouting stamps were one of my primary interests. I have started expanding that to include covers and Post Cards.

Starting again on some of the old milestones: stamp of each country (200+ so far), then on to a set of each country. Haven't started focusing in on a specific country yet, but those of Australia and Japan have always attracted me.

Looking forward to chatting with everyone and will probably have plenty of questions as I get back into the hobby.

TinMan, Good to see another Northerner. Am originally from the frozen tundra of Northern Minnesota. Currently dislocated to southwest Missouri. Would gladly trade the tornadoes and crazy weather swings down here for a nice northern blizzard.

Welcome back. I also lost of my 50+ year stamp collection due to flood waters after Katrina and had to start over again- in a very small way but I am enjoying my new collection & this site and hope you will also.

Clayton we too was dislocated to the Southwest except it was Illinois. Just 70 miles from East St Louis. We spent seven years down there. I didn't do anything with stamps then. I didn't have time, nor did I even think of stamps.
