An ebay find.......Poland to Scotland...3-2-47...7 stamps, 7 cancels.

The 2 larger stamps are from the "Views of Warsaw" set......scenes of before and after the war. There's six to the set, only $1.75 used but try finding them on cover.....it won't be easy.

$8.50 with shipping from Poland......a real bargain in my opinion.

The covers are great, thanks for posting them.

Notrare, I love your plan of collecting one cover per country. I am going to do the same thing with stamps. I may branch that out to covers, too. For now, I have plenty to do with my stamps. I have some US covers, I may just do one cover from every state instead. That would be much more "doable". Then after that maybe.

Is is very hard to do? I know its hard, but do you think it can be done without spending big bucks?

Stefani....

Collecting a cover or two from every country is quite easy until you get to the last group of "dead countries".

The purpose of this discussion is to show that collecting decent covers does not have to be expensive. All but one of the covers I've shown here are less than $10.00 each.....most are under $5.00.......with shipping included.

Finding covers on-line that I like has turned out to be very easy.....I average about 100 on my watch list.....choosing which to buy is the hardest part.

I know! There are too many for me for me to choose from right now! I'm sure someone experienced wouldn't say that, though.

I think that stamp collecting is more fun not spending a lot of money. They are meant to be bought for change originally anyway, kwim? The hunt to find a nice one for a cheap price is half the fun of collecting.

This post makes the count......21 covers under $10.00

This was a "foundling" in a mystery box.....Brazil to US, Airmail 1960.

A decent little space filler until I find something I like better.
