I believe I have located a 2115, Tagging Omitted, which is shown in the Scott's in the Mint column only. Mine is a used copy, and I'm going to leave it on the piece so that a soaking question doesn't arise later. (Did the soaking accidentally erase the tagging?)

In any case, I'm showing it on the bottom right, along with a normal 2115 used, and a special case where someone got cute and used the stamp twice, taping it onto the envelope but leaving a very small section which shows up as an odd taggant, but is really just covered by the tape.

Do you think the bottom right qualifies as a 2115 with tagging omitted? (Scott 2115e)

So Peter, is it a good idea to leave on the paper fragment, or is soaking off OK?

I really do not know. The cancellation is nothing special, but it looks like the stamp is missing the lower left corner? In that case I believe I'd keep it on the paper. By the way, normal soaking does not seem to affect most tagging too much!

Actually, the bottom left is folded over, showing the cancellation on the BACK of the stamp. I'm going to leave it on piece as I have enough room in my book for such. Thanks for the info on tag soaking effect.
