Wow! It doesn't look like the same stamp. The U.S. Airmail C1 almost all have the same problem. It must have something to do with Orange but C6 is another one. With C6 they wash out from Red to orange.

I had not heard of the peroxide technique before. I'm going to have to try it on some cheap revenues that have "oxidized."
