This site seems confusing for the coil issues of the star spangled banner stamps. The initial link below has the APU variety with an 8.5 perf but if you click on the link for the secret marks on the booklet stamps the APU coil says it has a 9.5 perf. I am not sure what it really is. Maybe someone else can help.

For recent flag coils, the perf gauge is a unique identifier.
8.5 is AVR (now CCL) ... 9.5 is APU ... 11 is SSP
The booklets are trickier since APU & SSP use same 11.25x10.75 ... AVR is usually 11.25x11.5.

To clarify it a little more, on the Star Spangled Banner coils, the CCL Coil (8.5 die cut) is Scott 4853; the APU Coil (9.5 die cut) is Scott 4854.

Could someone summarize the differences for the booklet stamps? Bought a 2014 year set and I have 4 booklet singles but can not quite figure them out which is which.

4855 .. APU .. Die-Cut 11.25x10.75 .. USPS at bottom of flag along pole
4869 .. CCL .. Die-Cut 11.25x11.5 .. no microprint
4870 .. SSP .. Die-Cut 11.25x10.75 .. USPS in fireworks above flag
4871 .. SSP .. Die-Cut 11.25x10.75 .. USPS in fireworks above flag
4871 is the ATM version. It is printed on thinner paper. In addition, only the ATM stamps will occasionally have die-cuts on all 4 sides.

My Minuteman album supplement indicates that 4871 ATM is die cut 11.25 x 11. Can anyone verify one or the other?

Mr. Eos - According to the Scott New Issues update published in Linn's April, 2014, 4071 is Serpentine Die Cut 11.25 x 11 on 2, 3, or 4 sides on Thin Paper.
