Kid Lit Postcards
One of the things I liked best about TPFKAMP (The Person Formerly Known As Mrs Pikey) was her reading to the children for hours every day and, moreover, choosing well enough that I was only too happy to take my own turns at the wheel.
A friend brought this card back from a trip to Montana and, at first glance, my head exploded:
"LITTLE BEAR! HE'S REAL! HE WAS REAL ALL ALONG!"
The expression on that cub's face is such a match for Little Bear that you could imagine the artist drawing the character from this card.
