Hi Steve, the Davo hingeless are a beautiful set. I have many collections but have also opted to keep my main US collection in these. Cost wise for a hingeless set they just can not be beat.
1. One thing about the Davo they are a straight forward album. Unlike a scott album which give many variations for a stamp.
As to missing coils the first album does not include many of the earlies before the prexie issues. This is a draw back and no they have not fixed this yet. I have opted to use the blank sheets and clear mounts to accommodate this. When you collect strips pnc or line pairs not to many album makers produce these. There are a few though.
2. As for sheet collecting you can purchase as a example showgard or prinz mounts to accommodate these. There are others but it would be ones own preference as to manufacture.
3. This is just the way Davo opted to set up their albums. It is perfectly acceptable to move around pages as you see fit. It is your collection. Most albums will have airmails, postage dues etc. at the back of the book "BOB". As for ducks many albums do not carry these as they are a specialty and most times will have to be order separately. Hint- this is how album makers sell items, if it saves you money they will find a way to charge you.
