2014 Mail Use Stamps Now Offered For Sale By USPS

For anyone interested in acquiring a set of 2014 stamps designated for "mail use", the USPS Store is now offering a set of 50 stamps designed for the collector who may not want to purchase all of the stamps in the originally issued formats:

Although slightly above face value, it is quite a convenience to buy the stamps this way as opposed to purchasing entire coil strips or booklets in order to get one variety of each of the stamps shown.

50 stamps with an accumulated face value of $24.91 for $27.95 ... plus $1.30 shipping I assume. Not too bad a deal. If they would throw in all the different Star Spangled Banner varieties for a few more shekels, I would like it a lot more.

I wonder if they have the clipped perfs that people are getting with the annual sets.

This packet is the 'additional' (along with the 'high value') packet that is sold to complete the year book. If you wanted just the yearbook you received the collectible sheets and other commemoratives. The mail use & high values were sold as additional or you could have purchased the bundle at a reduced rate. They are not inclusive of all varieties but of all issues (sans the jimi Hendrix).
