4***T has bid it up 4 times, maybe they think they see a color variation, it started at 10 bucks. I looked at my Perfs. on my copies and they are the same color on these they go from black to white in some areas. Dunno maybe that is it? The other bidder has only bought or sold 6 times on ebay. Jumping right in isn't he...? |

All I can say is someone apparently wants them pretty bad. Even if it were only $20, it's still above catalog value. |

The front sheet appears to be missing the "USA" and denominations on the stamps - OR NOT, as I look closer! Like said, someone wants them REALLY badly! |

I just can't get that lucky with anyone bidding up something I've listed that much...did once have a buyer bid $7.50 for a 60 cent plate block...but this smells to me! Seller isn't a stamp dealer and bidder has even less credability.
Who knows...but it sure is odd! |

The 18 cent can be difficult to spot on a scan, even in person the lettering and numerals tend to blend in with the design to some degree. |

However a close look at the second stamp from the right shows them both fairly clearly. Someone thinks they are missing, and will get a shock when he wins them. |

I agree the 18 cent is difficult to see and maybe at the angle and with the poor scan it appears to be missing. No return policy from the Seller and I doubt Buyer Protection will cover this. If a buyer is hopeful of getting a sheet without the 18 cents, and ends up with the "as described" sheet, there is no grounds for "not as described" |

Could the seller have more than one account and bid on their own auction? I would guess that is not allowed on ebay, and probably detected by their IP address? I was VERY surprised there are bids at all, let a lone FIVE bids! Sue SueStamps |

I had a listing a few years back coming to an end and I had complained to my wife it had no bids. She went onto her laptop and tried to bid and ebay blocked her indicating the ip address was already accociated with mine...so I don't think that's the case here. |

I wouldn't be surprised at bids in the $10-$12 range, it's a popular set and there must be some collectors who don't have it yet. |
