One of my favorite flat surfaces for sorting/soaking is the top of a chest freezer located adjacent to my den. My wife is insisting on replacing it with an upright but I have skillfully procrastinated for quite some time (e.g. nearly 9 years) but I think the forced emptying following the ice storm is going to seal its fate. Oh well, if nothing else stampers are flexible....

Us stamp collectors should unite...I was just telling my girlfried about my hobby the other day about what I was doing (soaking etc...) and she gave me this "look". Based from what I have read in this thread, I will be in the same boat soon....but as you guys have done...I will also weather the storm
