Yes there is a method to this madness! So lets see what your table looks like. I made some free time today and started sorting out some Guatemala stock. Couple little piles already set aside for ya Phil.

Well I use the full living room floor, couch, chairs and even the top of the TV. I even use the arms of the recliner. |

I thought that was your desk John. I can still see the smoke coming off your camera. Thinking way back I started on Grandma's kitchen table with a cookie tin of stamps saved by her. Hey MK, been there as for the recliner chair. Hint-See the large squares of cardboard. Perfect for laptop sorting. |

My oldest daughter gets a little upset when I use the TV remote. Yeah I don't move much if it is flat I will use it. |

I have my own desk, which I mostly use for sorting. If I have a large load to sort I can spill over onto the dining table (which doesn't get used for dining anyway). I also have to pool table, which is also rarely used for pool. Currently being used to help Bandicoot to sort his U.S. stamps. Anyone see anything they need? LOL. Steve |

Great now we can not play 9 ball !! I guess the coffee table is my number one place..of course I have to move albums, catalogs etc etc from my back room...like a portage !! Imagine if when I was in the service I used the rec room pool table to sort stamps..i can see the cue sticks being busted over the table now !! |

This is why I wanted to start this topic. Ya just gotta love it. Nicely organized Steve. I am usually good for about two, maybe three weeks at the dining table before another dinner party hits town. |

Wow! Mac's table is the size of my stamp den. my drying table is the electric range in the kitchen which I can only use from 6 A.M.-9 A.M. Not sure as i'd want to show my stamp mess even if I could. what I gotta do sort by letter , A-Z, put'em in envelopes, Then sort by country, one letter at a time. I redid all my intnl's so they are by country A-Z (of course). Have cigar boxes for each country for dupes. Cigar boxes by alphabet for new issues that I don't have an album for. Neat topic, Mac. |
