Found this in an old stockbook of 2 cent reds...

Perf 12 top and bottom, Perf 10 sides... would you send for cert
or is it identifiable as an obvious fake?

The stamp seems too narrow. Also the perforation tips on the left appears to show traces of the original perf 12 perforations.

Hi, Clark... the "narrowness" is the first thing
I noticed, which prompted me to measure the perfs...
it just didn't look right... so, I guess it must
have been faked from a 406, as you have suggested...
