Hi all,

I purchased some Rudolph Forever stamps from my local APC and got these. Will I have any problems using them?

Thanks!
Steve

Yes, knowing the people at the Post Office, you will have problems. But why use these? You might get a lot more for these than you paid for them; put them up on E-Bay!

It will still work for postage. Though such items are often sought out by collectors of computer vended postage as an attractive error.

These occurred because they put in paper stock that was intended to get the Eagle image that was used before the Rudolph preprinted design stock was introduced, but they forgot to change the software back to the Eagle software, so it only printed the part that goes to the left of Rudolph. They are worth a premium, but you are not going to get rich as you are not the first to find these and the number of people who collect the APC stamps is fairly small (maybe $5 per stamp?)

Thanks everyone. Maybe I'll turn a little profit on these.

Checkout ebay "sold listings" as there are a number of various APC errors that have been sold -- most for less than $10. In fact, a set of 10 APC labels (the older version, with pink stripe) recently sold for $7.95 for the entire 10 APC labels and the seller even offers smaller blocks or strips of them for $1.89 to $2.79. As mentioned earlier, nothing to get rich on, but they are worth a small premium (over face value) to certain collectors:

I would put those APC labels in a nice mount and show them off.
