So I am working on my 2014 issues. I collect singles, and se-tenants as blocks or strips. Confused as to how I should collect the Vintage Circus and Batman issues

Vintage Circus Posters is a block of 8, issued in a pane of 16. Would a half-pane of 8 stamps be the correct format, or the entire pane of 16? I don't have a Scott 2015 Specialized at hand so do not know how Scott handled the minor numbering for the block of 8

Batman you have the 4 circular stamps then the balance are in vertical strips of 4 different designs x4. The circular stamps are not se-tenant but could be kept that way from a sheet easily enough, and then the vertical strip of 4. Or could keep this as a 'block' of 8 with the 4 circular stamps and the leftmost strip of 4 vertical-oriented stamps.

Thoughts/opinions?? I usually only keep full sheets if all the stamps are different designs so these issues throwing me for a bit of a loop.

For the circus, Scott does list a block of 8

For Batman, they really designed them in such a way that I suspect the whole pane is they way most will save them

For Batman, Scott only lists the vertical strip of 4 Batman stamps as 4935a. Since the circular bat signal stamps (4928 thru 4931) do not abut any other stamps in the pane, they are not included in any strip of 4 or block of 8. In other words, such a block or strip would not contain contiguous stamps. Somehow I failed to notice this rather obvious fact & had to have it explained to me. But I agree, most will collect the entire pane ... even though it doesn't have a Scott catalog number of its own.
