Franklin One Cent 11 Perf Bottom And Top. Is It Typical?

Hello! This stamp measures perf 11 top and bottom. Also looks to be rotary press? Am I overlooking something?

You've got it right. The top and bottom are perf 11 and it is a rotary printing. Take a look at how straight the left and right edges are. They aren't very straight at all. Maybe someone wanted to make it look like a coil stamp to fill a hole in their album. Your stamp is a #632 that has the sides cut off.

Thanks for the help DNA! I thought exactly the same about your thoughts on the sides! There must have been very wide margins on the sides?
