When I expressed interest in stamp collecting as a child, my Dad is the one who got me an album and instructed me on the basics to get started. I believe he did collect stamps when he was younger, but I have no idea how extensively, or what happened to his collection. He died when I was 13, and this is one of those questions I never got a chance to ask.
Good find Chicken (or can I call you Chook ),It never seems to amaze me the stuff we end up with from passed relatives,I was going through some boxes that I received from my father's estate when he pass away a few years ago and found a dinning room manifest from the S.S.Taipai,My grandmother served on this ship as a nursing matron.regards Harry
