Evaluation of the Zeppelins or any of the other 7 photos was not requested. They were posted because some had voiced the opinion that there didn't appear to be much in the collection worth the time and consideration of the forum. I took a photo of part of 8 random pages from the 3 different volumes to show that there might be something in the albums of substance. I removed the photos and edited a couple of posts because the photos were off topic of the Washington 10 and the post had comments that were not appropriate to harmony on the forum. As noted, I reposted the Zeps at the request of one of the members, after taking better photos.


YES, the photos were taken with the stamps behind plastic, I did sharpen the photos lightly and to be able to meet the requirements of loading a 1200 dpi image, used compression on the photos. As the Zeppelins, nor any of the albums, are not for sale at this time and considering I am trying to learn about stamps - and do so in an orderly way, to my mind, at least - I really have no wish or inclination to open up the stamps unnecessarily.
