I am making my own WWII Germany stamp album. I have made a cover and 2 stamp pages so far. I would like to show you what I have done and would like feedback on it. I am looking for suggestions and any ideas you have. If you come across any pictures I can use please send them to me.

Looks good so far.
Although I would remove the swastikas at the bottom and instead draw some kind of a border, they look to "heavy" for my taste.
Maybe just the Kaiserreich-flag colours, black, white, red. If you want to keep focused on the war itself, maybe in the style of an SS-Ärmelband: http://www.militariaauktionen.net/u...680777_1.jpg

And the picture of Friedrich is "warped". I would use him as a "Background", maybe in the lower left or right corner with a gradient to white. Then you could use the free space to write some basic dates concerning his life, or maybe some more info on the stamps.

Here is a picture of a postcardalbum page, to show you what I mean with that gradient-thing:

EDIT:
Before I forget, you asked for pictures. I have my grandfather's WW2-photoalbum, als well as some loose photos. If you want something in particular, I can see if I have interesting pictures. I can scan them for you, and you can use them, completely free of copyright
I also have some old newspapers from that era, I think I have one or two of them twice.

Although I understand that you want to make a nice album for your stamps and are not pursuing a historically 100% accurate piece of work, here are a few remarks in addition to what has already been said by Drudenfus.

- the blackletter typeface does not look German to me. As far as I can see it is English Gothic, and not German Fraktur. The use of Fraktur is a bit dodgy anyway, because it was explicitly forbidden for public use by the nazis in 1941. From that moment normal latin typefaces were used.
- you stretched the imperial eagle (Reichsadler) on the titlepage. That makes the oakleaves roundel with the swastika eggshaped. I think it looks better round. I saw you took it from Wikipedia. There is a lot of confusion about the way the eagle should be facing: to the left or to the right. But as far as I know there was not one general design for it.

It looks like a lot of work if you want to make a complete album like this. What program do you use for it?

In that case I stand corrected. Somehow it looked ungerman to me, but being named after Kleist and Fraktur it must be.
