Glad to see you two are feeling better...you'd both been so serious over the last several posts that I figured you were either (i) USA hockey fans; or (ii) moderating your behavior now that we have a police officer hanging around.

CJD:

The USA Hockey team did us proud - a well-earned Silver, I would say.

But I have to confess, what really excited me during the Olympics, was the Canadian Curling. Kevin Martin is obviously the world's leading player, and wasn't Cheryl Bernard amazing!

Yes, I would say there were no losers in the gold medal hockey game. Both teams earned their medals, and congrats to the Canadians.

As for curling, a number of people told me they took an interest in it for the first time this year...I wonder if there was something different about the coverage?

I've always been a fan, but there was more TV coverage this year -- most all the curling matches were shown on CNBC.

Our USA teams weren't great, but I think they competed well. There was a lot of hoopla about changing Skips on the Men's team. I think the Women would have performed better with Pottinger as 3rd and Nicole Joraanstad as Skip. Both those ladies REALLY impressed me.
