...do you want me to scan images of the 7 RD3's I have

RD3 was issued in 1918 -- I don't see how it could possibly have an 1871 cancellation. So I'd like to see at least one scan. Unless of course it's a typo and you meant R3d.

Yes I would, since RD3 is a stock transfer stamp issued in 1918, as was stated above. So you are right, it is far be it for you to be telling me my mistakes.

Looks like a typo in your survey results after southpaw's report. RD3 was issued in 1918. R3d exists on silk paper. My old 1996 Specilized uses lower case letters;
a. Imperf
b. Part Perf.
c. Old Paper
d. Silk Paper
Does Scott now use upper case letters instead of lower case?

Already explaned. I see rustyc also uses the lower case.

Revcollector, you are correct, I made this mistake.

Rustyc, you are correct.

I call again to all members who would like to add to my informal survey!

Cheers

Dave

I see I made another error in my listing, the first entry should have been 21 Aug 1870!

Sorry somehow I transposed the date!

If other members who are interested, may provide me dates for their stamps in my informal little survey.

Cheers

Dave
