I wanted to share this neat card with everyone. It was sold through the French pavilion. I love the birds eye view of the SS Normandie in the port of New York with the other ships there. It gives you a nice comparison of the size of the ships. It also brings back those days the ships ruled transportation albeit the end was near. The card was used in the early days after France (the armistice was signed June 22) fell to the Germans and you can only imagine being a Frenchman there while your country is under occupation. The SON cancel on the French stamp tops it off.
