Hello all!
I am new here, 1st post! yayyyyyyy
Anyways, I just found my stamp collection from when I was younger. I'm not familiar with the terms perf 11 ,12 etc.. I don't know what they mean, I've tried to research them. I have 1 stamp in here in particular from the 22-32 (I'm guessing) Red Washington 2 cents. This one has a Boston, mass overstrike. Also, I can't find the values on all of these because I don't understand the price guide LOL. Any advice, suggestions etc... will be so greatly appreciated. I don't know if my stamps are commons worth .15 or some of the prices in the thousands. feel free to contact me or post here. Please help!!
thanks in advance!

All look to be very common. The ones with the cities printed on them are called pre-cancels.

This web site will help you. Use the Glossary to lookup things you don't know and the rest of it to help you ID the stamps.

Go to your library, look up Scott Catalog, read the from the start to page 44A, this will give you a basic starting point to enjoy your collection. My library has Scott Catalog available to check out, if your library also has the catalog to check out, then you can study in detail.

Cheers

Dave
