I have several press sheets that I keep in one of the tubes the USPS send them in. Is this the best way to store them? Someone told me they should be laid flat. Opinions?

Here is a link from Subway....

These albums do not seem to be large enough for many press sheets now issued by the USPS.

I've done extensive searches for a convenient storage device that is large enough to accommodate press sheets of ALL sizes and to allow them to be stored flat. I found 2 options:

1. Portfolio by Safco (approx. 38" x 25" x 1.5"). You can buy these online from Office Max, Office Depot, etc.

2. Flat Poster Storage Box (approx. 41" x 27" x 3") by Bags Unlimited. Just google it for the website.

If you have the space you may need a map case, which could double as a work table once set up with 'saw-horses' for support. I would only suggest this if you were to be purchasing numerous sheets or continue to purchase as a collecting type/category. Or look for a specialty desk with a 4' wide x 3' long draw. Some woodworking enthusiasts might be able to help. In any case, I would think a flat storage for long period of time would be preferable to rolled storage. jmo
