The American Bank Note Company (ABNC), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada changed its name to the Canadian Bank Note Company (CBNC), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on November 30, 1922. However, it still remained a subsidiary of the American Bank Note Company (ABNC), New York, N.Y., U.S.A. Starting from December 26, 1922; the Canadian Bank Note Company (CBNC) began to dry print Canadian postage stamps.
